NO MEETING - LIBRARY CLOSED DUE TO WEATHER Highlands Ranch Library Growing Roses in Colorado, by Master Rosarian Peggy Williams with the American Rose Society: Peggy will explain how to plant, fertilize, water and care for roses. She will also discuss preventing and treating for Japanese beetles and healthy practices for growing vigorous roses throughout the season.

Tuesday, April 16, 2024, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Highlands Ranch Library Paige McFarland, Water Efficiency Coordinator: “Being a Water Efficient Gardener," replacing lawns with less water-hungry varieties, turf replacement program, planting xeric plants, Centennial's ColoradoScape Program, conserving water, water restrictions, rebate programs.

Tuesday, June 18, 2024, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Highlands Ranch Library Attracting Birds to Your Backyard. Presentation by Mark Dougherty a lifelong nature lover and experienced gardener. He moved to Colorado in 2020 and became a Certified Bird Feeding Specialist for Wild Birds Unlimited and earned his Gardening Specialist Certificate from Colorado State University.
